Chad Michael Eyer is a student in the instructional design and data science programs at the University of West Florida (UWF). His specialization is technology leadership with a focus on using technology to remove barriers between potential and performance for organizations and individuals, especially individuals with disabilities. He completed undergraduate programs in information engineering technology and network systems operations, and he is an alumnus of Seminole State College of Florida, the University of Central Florida, and the University of West Florida.

Chad works as a technical writer and editor, developing procedural and training content for hardware, software, networking, and device management solutions in K–12, higher education, and enterprise environments. Besides his technical interests, his professional experience includes operations and process analysis, data management, print and online communication, and customer service. He has designed and delivered on-the-job and facilitator-led training. Chad volunteers as a copy editor for the English-language Wikipedia and a mentor to several undergraduates in UWF’s College of Professional Studies. Chad is an Apple Certified Mac Technician.

A past member of the University of Central Florida Marching Knights, the Walt Disney World Cast Choir, and the UWF Summer Festival Chorus, Chad continues to make music part of his life, and he is a life member of Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity.
